They are all after the same food source. This time of year you can catch sandbass, hybrids, largemouth, blues, channels, flatheads, crappie, gar, and drum all in the same group. They are grouped up chasing Threadfin. We have another 3-4 weeks of this pattern before bait starts migrating north. All truth right here. Water cools, Shad move north for fall, then to the dam in dead of winter. It is always about where the threadfin Shad are going and what they are feeding on. When you build tops and put them out for fish. You are creating a plankton system for the Shad. Once you have Shad the fish will be there.
The Truth is six of the seven Dwarfs are not Happy!

BTW, I have been slow rolling white spinnerbaits with Colorado blades. Last night I used a white and chartreuse spinnerbait. I've been catching them in shallow rocky water.
