I had a bass raider 10 footer and on a 200 acer lake I never needed anything except my 50# trolling motor .the battery was a walmart 29 and wouldn't after all day even be low on energy only problem was big waves ,although the boat want sink it will take on water if its really bad waves .

You can minimize the water into the boat by hitting the waves at a 45 or so degree angle. It's kinda sketch being out in big waves but as stated these don't sink. Keepna sump pump of sorts if going out to remove water..

If the fish don't bite your not baiting right...

I have a Raider 10 E set up with 30 # trolling motor with 2nd battery, love this small boat for fishing lake Fork in areas hard to get to. I fish it by myself usually but it works great with 2 people as well. As far as taking on water, I have a small bilge pump with alligator clips just hook up and pump out in a few minutes.
Would recommend to anyone for access to places where I don't want to take pontoon etc.
For the price, great boat and will give lots of pleasure.
