I don’t know what I want to do with it yet. Was thinking maybe paint the Texas flag on it or just clear coating it.
Is it safe to boil it to get the remaining tissue off and clean it better?

I would say no to the boiling . Boiled some sharks jaws and the teeth fell out . Put it in an ant bed .

Fish skulls are made of lots of bones. If you boil it all you will have is a pile of bones and teeth.

Ok then. I guess no boiling. It’s been outside for months but I’ll find a good ant hill to put it on for awhile. Then clean it with soap and water.
