I was surprised at how few boats were in Little Mustang this morning till we left around 0830hrs. I only counted 5-6 total. Watched a guy catch a couple small fish as we had breakfast around 0800hrs.

Not surprising. The fish have finally stacked up deep like they should and are on a nice schedule to catch all day off several spots if you figure them out and set up the run. I debated fishing it but the spot I would have camped on due to crowds had nothing but slots the last several weeks and they have been turning on in the afternoon close to or after 2:30

Looks like 22 overs were caught today. Congrats to the winner as well as Steve T. and Tim W. for their $15,000 fish.

Spent all day at the weigh in sight. Lots of the overs were caught early and sat on. Had 7 or so in the tanks at the 1 pm hour. Only a couple of those weight, the others sat till last hour.

If it was a stupid idea, you can be assured I have already done it

That’s awesome. What are the overs being caught on? C-rigs? Any word?

Good day on the water! We had a blast
Love Fork in the heat of the summer when the fish are “right”
