A general answer to a general question? After the sun comes up....c rig points. Skip docks if they are present. Lily pads, if they are present, with a punch rig or frog.

Low morning sun hit the banks Low evening sun hit the beer.

Grass lakes fish good all day shallow(ish). Mud holes fish good all day shallow, if there is cover to fish in. Clear lakes are good with deep jerk baits and deep jigs/plastics.

Eat. Sleep. Fish.

General answer: off shore structure, hard bottoms, deep diving crankbaits and drop shots.

Awesome stuff, Iā€™m not asking for anything specific for me personally. Just wanted to see what others are doing on their home lakes with success is all. Then maybe others can try those tactics on their home lakes. Was just trying to get some summer time info flowing is all.

Carolina rigged flukes on 5-6 foot leader on humps/points in 20-25 fow noon til 5:00. Lots of water sun screen and more water. Fish and shad finally stacked in classic summer pattern that you can set watch by and make your milk run.
