You don’t have to disguise your intent after I replied to you.

I ain’t mad, but if you’re gonna come at me like I’m lying or insinuating that my “facts” aren’t in line enough for you...then you’re welcome to DM and I can explain my full experience, because I can assure you I’m anything but an idiot.

At least have the stones to see something through if you’re gonna start it, rather than crawfish out when you realize I’m gonna say something back.

I'm not crawfishing. I had some things to do - three new Carbon 12 units arrived today. One of three things must have happened: 1) You aren't telling the whole story - because the tiny bit you do tell just doesn't make sense, REGARDLESS OF BRAND, 2) You had an issue that isn't covered by warranty and you're mad about it (like a screen impact from a lure) that you aren't admitting (as an example) or 3) You've simply "got issues." as you seem to be exhibiting in your posts.

If there was some reason you couldn't get warranty service I would have liked to have known if a sane person were relaying their experience. I have quite a bit invested in their gear, and would not want to upset my own warranty claim if there were one - getting legit "been there, done that" insight never hurts. It turns out you've just been hot air so far. Why don't you finish what you started? If you were denied legit warranty in the warranty period, let's hear it - with all the details. I'm sure a lot of people would want insight on what not to do. You seem to have made the accusation, then fizzled completely. Major electronics companies do not randomly choose to upset their install base of customers, be it Garmin, Humminbird, or Lowrance. If they were to do that, word gets around and business suffers. I don't dislike the other brands, have nothing against them, in fact I like some of their features - I just don't own them all. I have never once made a brand-bashing post, so an insinuation of that is misplaced.

No need to DM. I'm sure everyone wants to hear. As to you at this point: Are you a woke dude, possibly? Would it help if someone sent you another participation trophy?

Nice. Starting your post by trying to impress people while self-validating on a fishing forum like anyone cares how many Carbon 12’s you got lol! (Ego trip)

Once again...rather than trying to dissect my short opinion in a public forum, just get over yourself and move on. Or, if you are truly that interested in my experience then you know the avenues to DM me and get more information. Your response made it pretty obvious you’re in bed with Lowrance and got your panties in a wad about my statements.....which allows me to conclude that you never had intentions of genuinely getting information about my experience, you just wanted to pop off and now you realized you popped off to the wrong person and feel like your ego’s in jeopardy.

I’ve had 127 since 2016...

Find a life outside of a forum and don’t allow yourself to be owned by a brand.

This will be my last response to you on this because this whole deal is pretty childish tbh, and unlike you, I make an appearance here casually to read the occasional post. I’m sure you know people here you feel like you need to impress...I can assure you nothing you type will impress me. You’re a slap with a fishing pole and a keyboard, sorry nobody’s brought that to your attention until now.

I guess that my experience is unusual, I had very good service from Lowrance when I dropped my unit and broke the front screen. It was just out of warranty. They said that they couldn't replace the screen but would sell me a new unit with a One Year out of Warranty price. I got a new unit for 1/3 of the price of a new one. I also had an experience where Lowrance replaced a power cord free ! I know everyone's problems are different but just wanted to show that some work out a good way.

Having just gone through this exercise, here is my short summary on Lowrance customer service:
1. Made multiple calls to Lowrance customer service, on hold too long so I had to hang up a couple of times. (I'm doing this at work) That said, I imagine they are understaffed right now so I went in expecting delays. No big deal on this one.
2. When I finally got through, the person I spoke with did not speak very good English but was understandable just enough to discuss my options. She was to the point, very specific with what they could/could not do. There was no negotiating or complaining to be had. Warranty period had expired so I could either replace with exact unit at a minimal expense or upgrade to a newer version at a significant discount.
3. I chose the upgrade option. She emailed me a return invoice that I shipped with broken unit (on my dime) to Lowrance. They shipped back to me (on their dime) my new unit. From the time I shipped my broken unit to when I received my new unit was about 2 weeks. I think 2 weeks was relatively quick as I didn't pay extra to expedite.
To each his own but I'd say Lowrance customer service was good. I'm not happy that two of their units broke in less than 3 years and that I was out of pocket almost $1K in unexpected costs but that's all part of owning a nice boat.
