I was night fishing on the lake when it happened.. I did not see anything but I know when you leave that well lit ramp, it takes a minute for your eyes to get adjusted.. Not saying this happened but I see many people focused on their Electronics much like texting and driving and not paying attention of the details in front of them.. I think this guy just made a mental mistake and unfortunately lost his life.. It was a sad deal.. Also it was cloudy that night making it darker with no moon..

I agree wholeheartedly. It is very hard to see that area once you leave the well lit ramp. Sad deal all around. I have seen online that the man was a well liked and respected member of the community. He's in a lot better place than his crazy Earth now. RIP, Sir.
