well I met opti when I worked at bass pro in the service center. he helped me out more times then I care to think about. I used to run a 1994 champion 190dcx with a 200xri that did nothing but die. well after 2 weeks of opti working in the service dept and after other techs had looked at, he had my problem figured out. I can do nothing but thank him.
as far as larry ladnier, you needed to see him at bass pro. he would wear the button down shirts with his chest hair all exposed being way sexy!!! once a chest hair tried to grab me... I got scared.

Back when Mesquite Bass Pro was still in planning, Larry told me that he was hoping to work there when the store opened. He lived just across the lake to the North. He said he could walk down to the marina and jump in a boat and drive across the lake and dock at the store. I wonder if he ever got to do that.
Larry used to be a good bass fisherman. I haven't seen him on a lake in years.

yea larry told me that too. that would be a dream job. when larry fished with his old partner in anglers choice, they were tough.
