Meanwhile, back at the races. Bubba finished a stellar 14th place and got at least twice as much camera time as the winning driver. Richard Petty has hit a gold mine. His driver doesn’t have to even be competitive to get massive camera time for his sponsors. Let’s get back to racing and leave the politics to the NFL and NBA.

Your prejudice is flying loud and proud. You prejudged those with rebel flags which is exactly what you're speaking out against, prejudice.

EVERYONE has a smart phone now and can easily snap a pic in seconds. Where is the pic of this noose?

Wave a diving flag it is fair to interpret that you dive.

Wave a Confederate battle flag and it is fair to interpret that you support the intentions and ideals of the Confederacy.

It doesn't really make sense to see it any other way.

So what does all of the illegal's waving the flags of Mexico, Guatemala, etc. tell you about them? I see the left supporting them very heavily.

I have no idea if this is a terrible joke or a terrible mistake, but I’m sure, with as much publicity that it is getting, it will be solved. Congress will probable call a hearing about the noose.

2. How did someone just carry a noose around and no one noticed? Did they have it in a bag? Seems weird you could get all the way in the garage carrying a noose.
3. How come we haven’t seen a picture of it yet? Seems like if they are investigating, showing people what the noose looked like might help. Someone might recognize the materials before it was fashioned into a noose.

Dan is prejudice.

I don't know about number 3, but I can tell you (at least in normal, non-virus times), numbers 1 and 2 wouldn't be out of the norm. I can't tell you how many times I have been in a Cup Series garage, at odd or closed hours, and I have been the only one in there. Cars from one end of the garage to the other, tool boxes as far as you could see - and not a soul to be found. As for the noose - you could carry, in practice, anything you wanted in there, as long as it wasn't a cooler full of beer. I think the garages are far less secure than people give them credit for.

All that said, security was *supposed* to have been beefed up at the garage at Talladega for the virus procedures. Drivers weren't even allowed in. I guess we'll find out if the security was as tight as they claimed it was.

If someone had video proof, it would have at least been sent to TMZ by now. They're all the rage for propagating race stories

No pics anywhere of the "noose" in question. At this point you can bet your backside they would dare not say "oops someone made a mistake", no sir... they will fabricate this deal however they must (if indeed fake) to make themselves look good. What really bothers me about this deal, if its even real, is they have the FBI and all kinds of people involved over some BS prank like this... meanwhile mannequins dressed like police officers are being hung off bridges by rope and your going to put the countries resources tword this?? Its a simple prank in VERY bad taste at most.
