I like Metallica but Geddy Lee. Another vote for Lee. He has his Masters degree in bass instruments.

I definitely prefer bands that have prominent bass guitar in the sound mix/production
I’d have to say, I like Geezer Butler’s sound the best. He might not be the most technical, but really like his bass tone.
