If anyone wants to part with gen 4 stx - 8:1 ill take a couple off your hands

I am not standing up for any company as I don't fish enough anymore to give an educated opinion. Own one older 4600C as far as Abu goes. I do find this interesting though. Jay Kumar puts out a digital newsletter on Bass Fishing which is very good. On any big tournament he reports the details of the top 3 guys. Jordan Lee just won the MLF event last week along with a long list of other big events. Here is what he reported to have fished with for rods and reels. Abu Revo Premier reel and Abu Revo STX reel. Abu Fantasista Rod and Abu Veracity Rod.

I thought this was amusing info for the subject at hand.

Key word is "reported".

Not saying they weren't in play, but just remember that they are fishing for their living out there and will use whatever they think will get the job done.

And they also get the pick of the crop in equipment. I know a couple of pros several years ago that were shipped dozens of rods and reels to pick from. They gave the rest away.

Wish I could find some gently used Gen 1 or 2 revos. Best reels they ever made and yes, I had several round reels.
