We heard that we have 2 bus loads of protesters headed to Graham from Houston. I am afraid they will find we don't play by the same rules as Houston. I was told a group of military vets are standing in front of our monument. Also said there were several police and sheriff deputies parked at the courthouse.

What’s the monument of? Instead of hearing about it go to the courthouse and snap some pics, post them here.

I was told a group of military vets are standing in front of our monument. Also said there were several police and sheriff deputies parked at the courthouse. Wrong place for them to try that. I helped with a benefit tournament for the Warrior Ranch based there several years ago. Strong military support in that town. This could get interesting

It's the Miltary Service Monument. Everyone that has served in the military from Young Co. has there name engraved on there. It's in a plaza on the East side of the courthouse

Wasn't there some type of police/suspect thing from a couple days ago there. That may be what this is about. I can see the headlines on the local Graham paper, but can't read it
A man discovered unresponsive in a Graham police vehicle after his June 3 arrest has died, Graham police Chief Brent Bullock said Friday.

I don't know if I can believe that they would spend over 5 hours (350 miles) one way for what? Only to have to make the return trip.

Yeah, that wont work there, several of our WWII vets here in Jacksboro served with the Graham vets in that war, and the family military presence and honor is still alive. Were only 24 miles East if you need anything...
