Wait for the Classic and follow a Pro!

The run to Buck isn't hard, just have to hit the right turn and thread a needle to get to the old Railroad Trestle at the mouth of Airplane. I followed Matt Herren out of Airplane with the last TTBC out there! Be careful as you approach the bridge in Buck. HUGE stump in the middle of what appears to be the lane!

I hate that cut through at the mouth of Pilot Point, then there's that one stump as you transition onto the RR tracks to go up buck thats just under the water at full pool.... always scares the bejesus out of me. I wuss out and idle about 20 yards right there.

I went out with a guide in my boat and marked all the tracks on my birds. Happy to share what I have and while I trust them, he did say that when the water drops below 4 feet, they won't work.

I wish someone would do what has been done at Lake Fork. I see some folks run through the forest just below Indian. I heard one guy destroy his lower unit. Take it slow and mark your own lanes, but not reason to run 40+ after you get off the main routes.

Yeah, I'll stick to what I know. Slow and steady yet safe.
