Caught several fish today that had “sores” on various parts of their bodies. Down on the head / mouth area, others on the body. Size varied from quarter to silver dollar and one about the size of a post it note. Best way to describe it is red jello looking. Talked to a buddy who said a couple of his fish had the same thing. Anybody know what this is? I chalked it up to fish herpes!

They been rubbing on a tree to soften the eggs to spawn. It will heal over time. Post Spawn Wounds.
