So this is the topic that is always want to see everyone’s opinion. Read post on BBC, I believe, but can you use the following battery for cranking: https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/NBP7237Sorry don’t know how to past pics. I wouldn't put that in my boat. It's commercial, not marine. A true marine battery has heavy duty construction to withstand the vibration/shock of use in a boat, about as bad as you can be on a battery. It only has automotive terminals also. For close to the same price, I can get an AGM at Sam's Club with similar amps, more reserve capacity, and no need to check electrolyte.....

Someone should have informed the "battery expert" author that "AGM" does not stand for "Advanced Glass Mat". Some "experts"!

The Odyssey 2150, x2, and Northstar are all about the same. We run the Odyssey, 4 graphs, poles, pumps all day and still cranks the 300 at the end of the day

Dakota doesn't sell a starting battery. There are some technical mismatches when trying to match starting system needs with Lithium characteristics. I believe the discussion here is largely for starting/main batteries, and NO, LiFePo does not beat other technologies on high-amp starting applications. Alternator output voltage is typically a problem as well - it exceeds the safe charging voltage for LiFePo.
