when you retire and have nothing holding you down to leave, what lake do you want to live on or near? why that lake.

for me Toledo Bend. bass fishing is good, there are no major metropolis near by and large lake to keep it interesting. only drawback is it might be too isolated for medical issues when my health starts to fail

Right where I am at. I can fish Sam Rayburn, Toledo, Lake Nacogdoches, Pinkston, Timpson, Murval, Livingston, and some smaller bodies with-in minutes. Nacogdoches--Lufkin area is a wonderful place to live.

As for me and my house we will serve the Lord.

I always thought it would be great to have a house on a gulf platform about 75 miles out. Salt water fishing from home.
