I am sure this topic has been excessively discussed but I suck using the Search feature. I am not asking for the the "best" guide ideas for a reason. I have friends, a father and son, that want to do a "Out of Quarantine" trip from Pennsylvania. Looking for someone that you have used, had a really good time with, and hopefully caught some fish. This will be a June trip, so a guide that knows his stuff when it gets hot and the fish get stubborn.

Thank you!

If hes booked call Eric Wright.

Hollice Joiner was the best i ever fished with on Fork but doubt he's still guiding. all the names mentioned above are good ones. I'll add Jason Hoffman to the list, ive had some exceptionally fun days on the water with him.

This, and add Lance Vick to the short list.

in june if the fish are biting any of these guides can catch fish they will all be on the same milk run anyway. You will most likely see the other guides name here when you go anyway.

some will work harder than others. I would suggest call them up find one you will be comfortable with and book him.

I second James Caldemeyer, he is a great dude, awesome guide and definitely knows the Fork pattern. One trip he kept us on fish all day , big fish, fishing Carolina rigs deep on a 100 degree, bluebird day in late July. Other times of the year same thing, fish on all day and he is a good guy, extremely family friendly.

Add Eric Wright to the short list. Dude is a stick, very helpful and knows the lake and bite pattern daily. One of the nicest guys you'll meet.

Thank you to everyone that made a recommendation. It was vey helpful and made quite a list for future reference. I heard from the "fiend of a friend" that they did book a two day trip for late this month, but didn't say who with. I will fond out though.

Several of the aforementioned are great. My favorite is Ronnie Kelley. Great stick and works hard for his clients and make the trip enjoyable. There's a couple of new kids in the mix that are hammers as well. One is Jonathan Bowling and another is Jack York. Jonathan Bowling (aka J-Bo, aka "Johnny the Kid") had a best 5 of 41 lbs the other day.
