My 10+ year old Manta Ray is getting a bit long of tooth. This autumn should be a good time to replace it when the noobs decide to bale on their barely-used yaks. That kayak is a winner... you'll wish you'd kept it.

Just like fishing tackle. Academy looks like they are going out of business.
Its going to take a while for manufacturers to catch up.

yes, you can blame the kayak shortage on the Corona Virus. Kayak factories all over the world was forced to shut down for the last few months. Hobie, Old Town, Wilderness and all the American companies were just able to get back to their U.S. Factories and pump out product to fill the demand just a few short weeks ago. All that, and also factor in people at home with an extra $1200+ burning in their pockets and the need to get out and do something. lol, wish my $1200 would show up ! but thats off topic. I did see that Scheels in The Colony seemed to have quite a few a few weeks ago. Personally, i got my first Yak from the bargain cave at Cabela's. It was returned because the previous purchaser had managed to yank one of the carry straps out. If you ask me they used the carry strap to ratchet it down to their vehicle. I fixed it with some glue and washers, and have been happy for a few years now. Deals like that are probably more scarce , but keep an eye out for scratch and dent items.
