My existing gas has Stabil in it. Can I add the sea foam to this gas or should I run the old gas out and add new gas with sea foam.

The existing gas is only a few months old

That Merc is a 2+2 motor I'm thinking....runs on 2 cylinders below 1800 rpms....so it's going to be like that

have you changed the spark plugs.
old plugs can cause a motor to be harder to start and idle rough like that.
Carbon build up can too but it seems to effect top end speed too more so than worn plugs which effects start up and idle more than top end speed.
