I do those every now and then using pretty much the same recipe except I add a dollop of yellow mustard and about a tablespoon of Worcester sauce. Thanks for the replies. Mustard, Worcester and catsup does a fine job of BBQ'ing them up. Nothing wrong with that at all!

Once in awhile you get a pleasant surprise. Were they ever good done this way. Added a BBQ effect that I hadn't expected and I would recommend them as strong as any of the "named" brands now. I ate some of the these two days ago, a half a can !! Threw the other half in the trash.

Wife added: 3 tablespoons ketchup - 1 tablespoon mustard - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce - 1 tablespoon brown sugar.
