Sulphur Bluff sounds like the hub.
When the mail comes into town in the AM a truck from every town around there will have a truck waiting to pick up their mail.
Take Arlington for an example. We get all of our letters and flats from FT Worth. Its all processed there before its sent out to all the towns around Ft Worth. Some parcels come direct from the airport but most either come from Ft Worth or from a third party (UPS) for us to deliver.
It looks like there was something that made it all the way to Telephone before they discovered it was a forward. It was sent back to Dallas to be marked up and then sent back out.
Just a guess of course.
I hope you get it soon.

ours comes out of coppell, dallas to coppell to telephone via one of the morning trucks. now shows to arrive monday.

Kentucky to Ohio, I’m good with that. Ohio to Irving, I’m good with that. Irving to Coppell, seems weird, but OK. Coppell to Sukoher Bluff makes no sense, but Ok. Ping pong between SB and Telephone, sure, could be multiple reasons that happened SB to Dallas, now we’re getting weird. Why not back to Coppell? Why not to Dallas in the first place? Or why not back to Coppell? Dallas to Coppell, is real weird. Don’t tell me it makes sense that it’s been bouncing around north Texas cities for days, even if it was out for delivery, because it doesn’t. That just doesn’t make sense. If it’s supposed to be delivered from SB, then why wouldn’t it stay in SB until it could be delivered? That’s the issue. Maybe it could’ve been delivered if it wasn’t traveling between towns in the surrounding area. It’s incredibly inefficient and it doesn’t take a doctorate in logistics to figure out that makes zero sense, and costs a lot more money than it should. It’s absurd.
