Dakota's going to be at camp.....31 million dollars is unrecoverable if he sits out....he already lost 30 million unrecoverable dollars last season...that's why he's trying to get 40. It's malpractice on his agents part already!!

Worst case he makes $30-31M per year franchise.

Everything I can find says both sides are fine on the money. Its the years tvat have them at a stalemate. Dak wants 4, Cowboys want 5. He will sign before camp is over.

Speaking of training camp,I wonder what that's gonna look like this year? Probably no Oxnard thanks to the nut job governor out there. Maybe at Frisco only with no fans in attendance?

Saw a report earlier that CA starts reopening a bit this week.

Well that would cost Jerry almost 70M for Dak to sit on the bench for two years on the franchise tag, don't see that happening.

Not if he doesn't sign the tender, but with the tag he can sit and not get a dime. At least that is what I understand.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see Dak lose the starting job when he gets under a little pressure.
Dalton has NEVER had an offense like he’s about to be with

They are not gonna bench him this year after signing a possible $140-150M deal. No way. Barring an injury or incredibly epic collapse there is no way he sits when he is making money like that. At least not the first 2-3 years. Once that deal is signed they are all in since most will be guaranteed money. They will not have the money to go get another QB unless they can draft one. They will not even be able to resign Dalton after this year unless he gives a big time hometown discount. They got lucky this year with him electing to sign here because he did not want to move his family during this crisis.

I think this is a great call! Very impressed with the last few decisions that have come out of this organization starting with the fire and hire decision.

He will not let 31M fly out the window, he may wait until the last possible day to sign it, I believe that is july 15 but not sure.
