I know one thing it’s sure hard to get on plane with power poles down. I’ve tried it more than once. But doesn’t get you as wet as leaving the trolling motor down. I've tried to load my boat with the Talons down a time or two and that leads to some boat ramp entertainment. And you are correct about getting a shower with the TM down, I did that for the first time Friday....

I lost 15 mph yesterday. Till I realized it was fully extended. Lol

Warranty covered it, but it sure was easy to destroy that motor.

I made it all the way across Tawakoni with one Talon fully extended. Thought something felt weird but I couldn't quite figure it out until I turned around and saw the lights on. Didn't hurt anything.

I sold mine. I think it trimmed up a little better with them on. I don’t really see a difference in speed. But, I guess I never made sure I had live wells empty, temperature the exact same, etc. it didn’t seem to make mine any faster without it. 71 is about the fastest I have hit.
