Like most I was saddened to get the call yesterday that Coach Perrin had passed. I had the privilege to coach with Allen and fish with him many times. We even won a few club tournaments together. Mostly I will miss running across Roberts in the dead of night from the state park to Buck creek and back just praying we make it one more time. We had the honor of coaching his sone at NW. Prayers for the boys, his wife and for all the guys who got to sit in the coaches office and take in the world according to Perrin.

Alan was a close friend and fishing partner. I coached his son Michael at Northwest in baseball and did lots of landscaping work for him.

I also remember some wild rides in that Triton where I had a suction cup on the passenger seat. Night fishing was a blast with him and I learned so much from him.

Prayers for his family and new wife Rita. He will be missed.

RIP
Saw his name on here a couple of years ago. My dad used to play on a softball team out of Gainesville. I had remembered the names of 2 Perrin brothers that played on the team. My dad had since passed and wondered if this was the same Perrin. Mr. Perrin confirmed thru messaging here on TFF. Again rest in peace and maybe throw a softball with my pops.
