Or go about arguing over who's right and not trying to find any common ground. It's definitely way more entertaining to read lol.

It won't be the new norm. People will learn real quickly when it's a false alarm or not.

And the reason I don't wear a mask during flu season is because people don't freak the F out like they are with this. We need to calm everyone down and this is an easy way to help do that.

You know I've been saying since day one that I didn't agree with the numbers or anything. But since we are where we are, let's fix it.

Also, there's a vaccine and treatments for the flu.

So they aren't wearing a mask during flu season? Huh, I don't get it. I guess those are acceptable numbers that die from the flu every year.

...or if you want to be protected from the flu you can just get the vaccine. 40-60% chance of complete protection. If you do still get it, there is a 40-75% reduced risk of hospitalization. If you do still get hospitalized there is a treatment. Tamiflu.
They don't track the data in adults, but in children 80% of flu deaths were vaccinated. So no need to wear a mask during flu season, if folks care about being protected, they can protect themselves with a vaccine. Pretty simple.

So you didn't wear a mask when you were so sick here awhile back?

It's not about wearing a mask to protect anyone. It's about controlling other people's behavior through chronic fear-mongering.

30 million unemployed. 3 million in the world have tested positive. Keep up the stupid and we can shoot for 40 million unemployed.

Just noticed my new title!!! roflmao

I wear one if I'm going into a store or think I'll be in close contact with anyone. I do not when taking walks in the neighborhood.

My own breath is too bad to keep the mask over my nose. I can cover my nose or my mouth, but not at the same time

Exactly. The "mask craze" is nothing more than normalizing governmental control. And a surprising number of people are falling for it.

I just went to Vineyards to get a trailer plug adapter and some burgers to go. Not one person in the store had on a mask or gloves. There were five people behind the counter. One coughed a few times. I could only find a 4 to 7 adapter (needed a 5 to 7) and when I brought it up to the cashier, I asked her if I could go try it first. She proceeded to try opening the plastic it was packed in. When she couldn't get it opened, she tried using her teeth. I have come to the conclusion that people in Franklin County are not particularly worried about Rona.
