I'll believe the science in 5 years when they get it figured out. Right now it's about globalism and fear mongering.

Overall I think the country did a pretty damn good job, this is the prep for the bad one that is coming, I’m sorry to say this but we have reached a break over point of over population
call it what you will...he is not definitely not anywhere near the top of the list for QB's that I would choose needing a FG or touchdown drive late in the game.

Objectivity here is pretty scant. A few, but not many are able to make unbiased observations. Even good scientist have bias, but they are able to set it aside and look at the evidence. If fact, many here not only ignore any evidence that does not coincide with their bias, they immediately label it as fake science or what ever.
It is not certain that we have turned the corner just yet. It is looking more encouraging for sure. Overkill? Maybe but that is not conclusive yet. Successful? Yes, at least so far as we have been able to treat most who were seriously ill and as a result fewer have died.
I would love to sit down at a poker table with some of you who have been so against dealing with the probabilities. It would be entertaining to watch you draw to an inside straight over and over again and complain about being unlucky.

I’m not sure if any of you have read the article from Hong Kong University from 2003 where they basically said:
“Hey idiots..... If you keep eating bats that are full of these nasty corona viruses you’re going to be sorry!”
That’s some science with an emotional slant but you get the drift. We were warned and almost nobody listened to them. A few Chinese provinces outlawed eating bats but for the most part it continued.
So, Hancock, we should have been more prepared but this story is likely one of those that got no traction because we weren’t really paying attention even after SARS version 1 showed us it was important.
Yes; and there was a very popular movie in 2011 (Contagion) with similar warnings. I suppose drinking lattes and colas while eating pizza, French fries, and onion rings kills lots of people, just slower.

Didn't come from eating bats, it came from a lab where they were experimenting on them. Accidently or purposefully, that is the only question we should have right now.

And once China's leaders knew they had a dangerous epidemic, why did they stop all travel out of Wuhan to the rest of China but still allow flights from Wuhan to go to other countries?

Didn't come from eating bats, it came from a lab where they were experimenting on them. Accidently or purposefully, that is the only question we should have right now. It does appear that might be the case especially if patient zero was sick in November. The real question is whether this thing was engineered or happened to jump species for the modification. As secretive as China is being, I wouldn’t be surprised by the former. Nevertheless.... the article happened. They eat these nasty things and sell them in these markets. It was cited as a “ticking time bomb” thirteen years ago yet you still see them on a skewer. They say it’s cultural.

Im hearing strong evidence it was engineered in a South Carolina Lab. If engineered what does that tell us?

Personally I think it was engineered due to all the experiments governments have done since WWI.

A friend of a friend passed away a week ago from congestive heart failure. He was very old and had been in ill health for a while. His death was listed as complications from COVID-19 by the hospital. He was not tested for COVID-19. This friend said the hospital told them they get extra $$ in funding for COVID-19 cases.
So, can it be, that the numbers of COVID "deaths" are not accurate either? This whole thing sucks pond water bad.
