Use a baby brush hog, a zoom french fry or a zoom super fluke on that C-rig and that should help your stats catching fish on a C-rig.

Will do. I wonder if I am throwing them in the right kinds of places. I’ve dragged them on main lake points, secondary points, and along rip rap by dam.

Man I've caught some many good fish lately on the Oldham copper 3/4oz football jig with rage craw trailer (alabama craw in color)

But that 6th sense 1/2oz hybrid jig is so hard to be beat with it being some versitile being able to swim it, flip it or drag it out deep using the same rage craw trailer...

That should work.

Jeff, you're missing out. When they are on a jig bite there's nothing else like it! Frog and jig bites are my favorite. Pitching a jig in the middle of a cedar tree on Ray Bob and watching for that little line jump. Or punching a big jig in the thick grass and BAM! It's fun and with as many fish are you're on you would love it.

1/2 ounce black/blue if I only had one.

I will give one a shot again tomorrow. I have been mostly a am bite the last few days so its hard to put down what I have been using with success..

I agree with that bite being just behind a frog, I pitch a lot with biffle bug, craw etc... I like the idea of saying I think a bass is here and tossing to it and boom... similar to how I fish a frog.

If I only had one jig to throw it would be this one. Booyah Boo Jig 1/2 oz this color. Put a WM/ red flake Zoom Chunk or Rage Craw on back. It has a great rattle, good stout hook, and comes thru cover well. Also has a flat bottom so it lands upright most of the time.

Oldham Jigs 1/2oz Trailer Hitch jig in PB&J with a Zoom Fat Albert Twin Tail grub in PB&J. Love the screw lock keeper. Takes a few more seconds to rig up but the trailer will last forever. This is an inexpensive fish catching combination on Toledo Bend and Sam Rayburn.
