On squaw I’m going Chris Borden, wawi, fish killer, pete, and lunkers tv after he marks their spots.

There are lots of great anglers from TX but you asked for the Best. IMO these are them.

Was going to mention him as well. He’s a hammer for sure

Harold Allen hasn't even been mentioned. Whole debate is not valid.

Dudes fished 15 classics

He's a legend for sure. It really depends on if we talking guys that are from Texas or did their winning in Texas. Many guys live here but fish at a higher level out of state mostly. I interpreted the question as what guys are best in the state as in Texas events.

As far as a non tour guy I'd buy Spike Stoker in a Calcutta all day every day on damn near any lake in the state.

Off topic. Donald Harper is a good contributor to the board. Does he push his products? Yeah?. None the less. Make a list of useful people on this board and he’s up there.. doesn’t deserve the smart [censored] remarks.

Wendell Ramsey should be on the list. As a multiple Bass Champs winner, as well as the Championship. His getting a check average is probably 80% or higher. The guy has fished everything from Angels Choice, Opens, Everstarts, Bass Champs, and anywhere else he could take our money.

I'm friends with Wendell and he fishes our local club. He definitely has some skills when it comes to bass fishing.

At least on a club level here in Texas my old buddy Robert Hargrove was about the best there was with 11 Century Bass Club Angler of the Year titles.
I sure miss you buddy but still think of you all the time when I am out fishing.
