Mine will be reduced but I still have kids so I assume I will get something. If that is the case, I will use it for its intended purpose - to stimulate the economy. Lots of people in need right now, donate or use it, these are the 2 options that will help the recovery efforts.

won't be getting one,and i have an unemployed 22 year old that still lives with me !!

Don't think I will get it, but if I do, I'm giving it to my neighbor who lost his job and has 2 kids......he needs it more than I do! River man, I’m not saying that this isn’t a great idea but from what I understand at the end of the year you will owe this $1200 back in the form of lost tax credits.

River man, I’m not saying that this isn’t a great idea but from what I understand at the end of the year you will owe this $1200 back in the form of lost tax credits. Seriously doubt it. If it is like the past, it will be a line item on the 2020 tax return. If you qualified for it and did not receive it, you will get it then. If you qualified for it and did receive it, it's a wash. Only way I see it being paid back is if it was paid based on 2018 AGI and your 2019 AGI turns out to be above the ceiling (for those who have not filed a tax return at this point).
