I plan on hiring a couple folks as soon as things dry up to have a few little jobs done. I'm sure people that lost their jobs could use a little extra money NOW and not later.

Going to sale the house and downsize a little, looking for a few acres I can pay cash for and put something to live in on it. I'd like a used bass boat but we'll see. I just want to get back to work and be able to train my kickers and punters in the evening and weekends and I'll be good.

I was planning on having the flooring in our 3600 sq ft home replaced this year, but will put that on hold until the COVID 19 thing passes. Us old's can't afford to have the possibility of contractors that are carriers come into the house. I need to finish the interior painting anyway and didn't get on it this winter like I wanted to. That will probably be our significant local purchase when this is all over.
May you be treated the way you treat other people, today and everyday!

I contracted Jmans Texas Outdoors Landscape company to build an enclosure wall with windows and door for our back patio. Came out great. Bought some paint, have been doing some painting. Installed a new motion security light in the back yard, still working on completing the wiring for it. All of our jams and band shows are cancelled until God knows when. Put new strings on two guitars. Had my hand surgery done. Paid bills, the usual stuff. Hoping for some sun to get the boat out and do some fishing, then if this china flu passes, pull the RV up into Arkansas and Oklahoma a little.

Some of the projects I was going to do this spring were put off till the summer or fall. Now I want to make sure it helps those back in business the most. Mosquito misting system. Fence work. Concrete patio and landscaping. Converting 2 door garage to a single. Adding electrical to garage. All local businesses, I want to help the hard working folks out there. Also still planning on going on a two week vacation to Rockport this fall. I hope to stimulate that economy as well. I have a couple of rental properties in Rockport that are sitting empty because Rockport has shut down short term rentals for now. I would appreciate your business this fall.

I am very content with living with what I currently have, so that money will go into some account that will draw a little interest (very little these days) until I have a real need down the road.
Family is everything! Life is precious. We donโt have forever. We have now. This moment. We can choose to love our lives now.
