I bass fishing EM a lot, but the few times I’ve attempted to crappie fish it’s been a fat goose egg. Any pointers appreciated! Feel free to PM. I’ll trade a bass trip for a crappie trip too!

I've moved over to the Ft. Worth area, and with EM only being 10 mins from the house...gonna be fishing it more and more. Been on the lake several times so far...mostly hunting brush and structure. Brushpiles seem hard to come by, but I've found a few...and crappie are on them.

Just gotta find them is the problem. I'd start looking in the creeks right now, and move out as the spawn slows down.

Is this thread too old to bump? If so, I apologize.
I've fished out of Indian Creek on EM for a few years now, and usually can catch crappie under the bridge during the winter, but recently I've put in 20+ hours under the bridge and only pulled a single 14-incher using jigs. I've mostly been fishing in the afternoon and evening, which I know is not ideal, but I wonder if there's a better spot on the lake during the summer. The regulars I normally see in the winter haven't been there, either. Where are the crappie in EM during the summer? Someone help me out please. Thanks!
