Watched half last night and the other half this morning. Its slow and dragging in places but I like the concept. We know what happened from history but a small thing or two changed history and the Manson family goes to the house next door. Where Brad and Leonardo are not unarmed and afraid.

I'm shocked that I actually liked the movie as much as I did.
Slow, droning, yes, and I expected to hate it, but I didn't.
Tarantino is hit and miss for me.
I'm not reviewing this moving, but simply applying finality.
I give it 3.5 bare-feet out of 5.

Thought it was a good movie but they could have easily shortened it by 20 minutes or so.

The movie didn't deserve all the hype it got. I think Tarantino wanted to do a biopic on the Manson murders but knew he would get sued by the Manson estate so he had to just "hint" it was about the Manson murders.

i vowed not to watch it
my wife was watching i joined her & couldn't pull away it was really good I can’t believe it but I thought it was one of these best movies I’ve seen in a long time. The characters are well developed and the subtleties are hysterical. Raccoon and rat flavored dog food? The way he amplifies the sounds of it leaving the can or someone pouring a drink are too funny. I despise him, most of the actors and what they stand for but I’ve watched that movie three times. I was hysterically laughing on an airplane when he’s torching them with the flame thrower and smashed that woman’s head open on the mantle. And the pit bull on the nuts.... My wife was kicking me because I couldn’t quit laughing at how over the top it all was. I guess I’m in the minority but I really enjoyed it. Now Kill Bill on the other hand was maybe the worst movie I’ve ever seen. I still hold Reservoir Dogs and True Romance As his finest work but Pulp Fiction comes close. He’s an odd duck for sure.

I suppose one good thing about movies like that,a so-called "Period Piece", is that it's kind of a history lesson for youngs about how things were back in the day.

Brad Pitt really was the most entertaining & you could tell he has gotten to be a better actor with age.

I didn't expect to like the movie but I did. Though Brad Pitt did a great job with his character.

That last 15 minutes or so is gold. It’s worth the wait.
