I love the part about lawn care..."we can't have sight obstructions".... roflmao...in this time of chaos and crisis its imperative that yards get mowed.

I'm not happy about it at all but not sure what we can do... I'd hope an officer would just turn a person around and tell em to go home before laying a Class B Misdemeanor on someone, but they do always look for a person to make an example of and plaster all over the news.

Tow the heck out of it. They can not arrest you, ticket you or in any way restrict you from travel, if they do you can just go after them for multiple civil rights violations.

I couldnt agree more man... they barricaded off all the Parks near my house and caution taped off all the playground equipment to keep people away.Hoping they will focus any enforcement on people having gatherings and not individuals out and about. If yall see me on the news getting the ole nightstick upside the head screaming "I just want to fish" please start a fund me page for my bail. roflmao I;m insanely cautious as my wife is as high of a risk as there is, no way I would ever take a risk I didnt fell 100% certain about. I can say that I feel 100% certain that I can drive myself to the lake and fish all day without coming in contact with another soul until I return home, strip, disinfect, and come back inside my house. (Standard Protocal at my house even if just going to the gas station)

It may not be here but I am telling you all now, on the news there will be a big story in the coming days of someone getting charged for disobeying the order and getting the book thrown at them.

One thought i have on all of this is they are not gonna start throwing people in jail over this. They do not have the capacity to hold that many people. Currently many jails hardly have the space to social distance anyway in normal capacity. I bet we start seeing some lawsuits from prisoners over this soon.

laugh all you want but I called the communications manager for the town of Little Elm... she said, go fishing! Just make sure you practice safe social distancing and not have more than 10 people in the boat. Which I replied, I will NEVER have that many people in my boat!

I used to be a rebel in my younger days, so to call and verify this sounds ridiculous. That being said, I'm glad I clarified.

In some area they have let prisoners go to avoid them getting sick.

Dont know how anyone can get around this... pretty specific

https://www.nbcdfw.com/news/coronav...tricter-response-coming-tuesday/2337225/

"All travel, including on foot, bicycle or automobile, is prohibited, except for the purposes of Essential Travel to work in an Essential Business." .

but then I found this... if Golf is in darn it fishing is in!

"To engage in outdoor activity, provided the individuals comply with
social distancing requirements of 6 feet (for example, walking, biking,
hiking, golfing, or running)."

I'm going fishing...one guy on a kayak is pretty well social distance.

Not stopping anywhere and staying far away from others...it's for excersie and food.

I don't understand how 500 people can crush into a grocery store, buying outrageous quantities of basic Staples, but one guy or two guys can't go fishing.

Outdoor activity is still allowed. Go fishing. I certainly would be if I wasn't stuck at work.
