The definition seems a little flaky. For instance, our industry is power transmission and conveying. I would consider that essential at the moment, but I have no idea. Thoughts?

About any business can get their lawyers involved an argue they are essential. The trick will be surviving local news media/social media. Tesla for example successfully argued they were essential, but got shut down from bad publicity blow back.
Bob, I would certainly think Power Transmission counts as essential.

I'm assuming oil and gas is essential. I'll keep the lights on until the operators stop sending bills and checks. Otherwise going to shift to coming into the office on Tuesday and Thursdays and work (re: fish) the rest of the time. Any excuse not to come to Dallas works for me.

just listened to mike rowe on fox, I agree with his statement of what is essential.

I have to think that plumbers especially are essential what with all the tp that must be getting used.

My job is essential to me. And since I'm the only person in my office most of the time, the risk of my being there is almost zero.

Gonna be interesting here in Louisiana today. We're deemed essential, but somehow some of our vendors are not, like concrete testing. They changed the hours at the store where I get coffee on the way to work every morning, they don't open till 6:00 now.
