Amended Order of Dallas County Judge Clay JenkinsEssential Businesses are defined under section 2B. One of our engineer's sent a special report detailing our essential business so that we can work in Dallas. My job is safe for the moment. We'll see what happens.

For what it's worth I am essentially Retired.
I am happy for all who can continue to work and feel terrible for those who have been laid off. Hopefully those in charge will get their s*** in one sack and get some financial relief to those in need.

Join Infragard. You'll like it. Takes 2-3 months to go through the approval process, but it's worth the wait.

It would absolutely suck to be the people having to go in and enforce the closures on a local level.

Letter carriers are always essential. We would fall just behind the police, fire and healthcare workers and in the same group of grocery stores and gas stations.
But just 15 minutes after arriving at work the new Tarrant Co policy was read and it said that anyone who was at risk or was taking care of someone at risk, who had companies with sick leave that would cover it, should stay at home. I have been worried about that. I am 66 but healthy and my wife the same but one year younger. I do however have my sister who has been frail living with me since mom died so I have been worried that my job was high risk in transferring the virus to her.............so I am at home for the duration.
Did I do it wrong? I am like Ironman and sure of myself but second guess everything.
I am wrong but you can not prove it, you just believe it enough from the bottom of your heart.....
.......Every post you make I'll be trolling you.

It would absolutely suck to be the people having to go in and enforce the closures on a local level. Ma never thought about that. That's got to be a rough job Is that going on, or going to happen? For now, here in Louisiana, non essential business will be closing as of 5:00 p.m. today, and there will be no enforcement of it by anyone. The presser from the Governor stated he hopes people will follow the direction and it won't need enforcement. "Edwards said this order does not restrict travel from parish to parish or even across state lines. Also, no police checkpoints will be erected, enforcement will mostly rely on the goodwill of citizens."
But Edwards urged Louisiana residents to comply or officials could consider mandating stops. "If the people of Louisiana are demanding that we enforce this order before they honor it, we're in deep trouble," he said.New Orleans is a hot mess right now, you couldn't pay me any amount to go there. They're working hard to release all non violent criminals from the jails,, the homeless have no where to go, and with all the out of work people plus kids out of school, they're gonna have some bad times ahead. I can't imagine what the LEOs there are experiencing. Coming back from Fourchon yesterday we took a longer route to avoid New Orleans and the causeway.
