I would like to frequent forum owned businesses, especially now.

If we had a list with locations I could at least do carry out.
I will update this post as possible so you can take a quick look see.

If there's any lawn maintenance people, I need my lawn mowed as soon it's dry enough. Haven't had a chance to get my mower out of storage since it's my buddy's unit and have to get the key from him.

This is a great idea! I have wondered about this before and live just outside the Metroplex. Even with many members not being in Texas and North Texas specifically a comprehensive list could be pinned for all to reference. If in their area all would know there is a TFF 'affiliate' nearby.

This is an excellent idea and a positive move in dark times. I know of 407 BBQ in Argyle because I live in the general area. What are the names and locations of some other restaurants, retail shops, service providers that could use some TFF support?

A new forum would be great, and have it broken down into restaurants and other services.

Great idea! I would love to be able to eat out and support yall... BUT I have a feeling the Gov. will be closing all sit down dining today.

Still could do take out though! Throw in some extra fries and I will drive to support yall... tough times now.

That would a cool thing to have. As we all travel thruout the State we'd know "this guy has food here" or "I'll stop for gas there". Break it down to major cities or something.

Good thought Allison1. I usually try to utilize TFF people when it comes to services and it has worked out really well. Great folks on here. A list of restaurants, and all other services would be good.

I do landscape construction. Basically everything outside that you need built or installed. Worked for several people on here from pergolas and porches to flower bed borders and french drains.

I'm not suffering because I don't have any overhead. I'm ready to help out if there is a need from another small business owner.

As many are affected by the Covid-19. TFF’ers do a great job of supporting each other in time of need. If you’re a restaurant and/or small business post it up. Let TFF’ers in your area know who you are so we can do business with you.

Allison1 said it best.

Good to know; I live in Bullard and might come out your way next time I am looking for something. You are not alone, I have even been unable to find and aloe vera gel to make my own hand sanitizer from the isopropyl alcohol I have on hand.

Since I was the first post I put it all together on the first page as best I could. I will continue to do so as long as I can edit the post.

We need to get Brandon and WAWI and Tman if they want on the list.
I'm headed out to get fish in GP tonight. My sister likes pizza so we'll be headed to Marcos soon.

If you need A/C work for residential, restaurants, or computer rooms you can contact the company below. This was the company that I worked for until today due to layoffs. We are a small business with around 16 techs and handle lots of restaurants that y’all would know, we range from Weatherford, Gainesville, Sherman, Marshall, DFW, Tyler, to Nacogdoches. The owner is trying to keep as many of the guys working as he can but has had to start making cuts.

Fantastic thread!

I’ve already had quite a few of you contact me since getting hooked up on here with JP. For those anywhere near Greenville, Rockwall, Fork, etc, we’d love to have you out if you need dental work. We have patients that come from as far as Virginia, Kansas and New Mexico because of some of the specialized procedures we offer like Teeth In A Day (total new smile placed on dental implants in one appointment with an anesthesiologist present) or MIT (Minimally Invasive Tunneling) where soft and hard tissue grafting and implants are placed through a tunnel via a small incision under your lip.

We are currently taking extra precautions with the spread of Covid-19 and will provide this list to anyone entering the building. The CDC has advised postponing “routine dental work” which means cleaning, exam and x-rays though my hygienists have decided to stay and provide care for those that still choose to come in. We are a small office and the health of our staff and patients is paramount.

As you can see in my signature, we are Complete Dental Care and located at 2704 Aileen, Greenville Tx 75402, but contact us first by calling 903-454-6661 and asking for my darling bride Jennifer and just tell her you’re a TFFer (or as she refers to us.... that you’re in my “sewing circle”). wink

It’s pretty crazy how our world has changed over the last month. We’ve got two suspected cases out at Hunt County as of yesterday but no confirmed positives yet that I’ve heard of. I think banding together and using each other’s services is a great idea.

Stay healthy folks,

Jackson

P.S. You can call or text me personally at 903-456-5554.

Edited: As of 3/23 we will only be seeing patients for emergency treatment (you’re in pain or danger) until 4/21 per the Governor’s Executive Order.

Great posting there Dr,

Where were you 60 years ago when the Military was practicing in my mouth ? Think they were using used and reused dated rail nails to do injections (IF they used anything) eek

Would close by saying Good Luck , however your expertise shadows that.

When someone walks in with a mouthful of the biggest silver fillings you’ve ever seen, the joke is.....

“Army or Navy?”

They just chuckle and then start telling me stories where it’s hard NOT to cringe!

You guys were far tougher than I am. All I can say is that I’m very grateful for your service.

cheers

My wife says we need a new front door to the house
I have no idea what she wants or is thinking (but I want sharks with laser beams on their heads)
Any of y’all do front doors (for houses) and willing to be patient with my better half?

I work for Texas overhead doors . We are still in full operation servicing and installing commercial and residential .
If you live in Johnson county I would be more than happy to stop by and personally take care of anything you got that doesn’t require extensive parts . Everybody else give the office a call. We also have 24/7 emergency service .

It was on the TV news last night about a Houston eatery business that are closed, locked up, and yet they had their business broken in to, and the safe was gone.
Their was a bit of security video but not enough. The owner said about $7K was in the safe. So.....beware, the thieves are out. BTW, the safe was gone in about 4 minutes.

Do you have a relative who is a dentist in Denison, Texas?

Got my taste buds going and made me make a 35 minute detour on my trip home to stop by 407 BBQ. It was my friend from Austin first experience with 407 BBQ and he was very impressed with everything EXCEPT the lack of pickles and onions but realized it was the COVID-19 restrictions. The stop was my early Father's Day present to myself since you will not be open on Sunday (Father's Day) when I will be next in the area. Got the 3 meat plate and ended up taking 1/2 of it home with me because I could not finish that much for lunch and still stay awake to drive home!

First time at the the new location and had a good crowd at 1:30 PM on a Tuesday. When will you make the Texas Monthly top 50?
