People....... what are we really facing, not enough test kits out to determine if it’s covid_19, yet so many cases being diagnosed as the virus! Whose bullshi***** who? I’m really starting to get confused.
A feeble mind wants to know

There is a bunch of nonsense going around. I had to stop at a grocery store today and the cashiers daughter is a nurse. The lady was going on and on about all the positive cases hey were seeing and at that same time saying they didnt have any test kits. Very frustrating.
My friends wife works at the newer and bigger hospital in our area and they only had 2 positive cases there at that time.

10,442 cases reported on CDC. Guess they have that many. The protocol is to not test everyone.

I drove my wife to her infusion appointment today next to Longview Regional Hospital and they had a CV-19 testing area set up in the parking lot. The folks staffing it were in full hazmat suits. People were getting tested sitting in their cars as we drove in and out of the parking lot so there must be test kits available in Longview.

There is more fake news going around than real. If it doesn’t come directly from some government entity I have just started tuning it out. Can’t tell you how many text messages or emails I’ve received from “my family member at FEMA” or “ my friend who is a doctor” or “my coworker’s son who works for Trump”.

There is certainly more Media Hysteria than Verified Knowledge going around.  If you listen to some "sources" half the population of the US will contract it and half of them will die.

Mainland China had 39 new confirmed cases on Thursday, the country's National Health Commission said, all of which were imported cases.
Of the new imported infections, 14 were in Guangdong, eight in Shanghai and six in Beijing, the health authority said on Friday.
Wuhan, capital of central Hubei province and epicenter of the outbreak in China, saw zero new cases for the second day.
That brings the total accumulated number of confirmed cases in mainland China so far to 80,967.

There is no real debate to this and it makes it difficult to know what's real and reliable. Also, I dont want to make light of 200 lost lives... But we do need to keep this in perspective. There are approximately 23,348 obesity related deaths every month in the United States. Again, COVID-19 is real. It is scary. It does need to be deal with. However, the media needs to stop the hysterical rating driven reporting style that they have adopted over the past several years.
