If you’re day trading and moving in and out at the right times you could be getting rich right now. You got that right! There are people making a killing in this market. There’s money to be made up and down but I’m not smart enough nor do I have the tools to do that. This has to be a day traders dream. Drastic moving markets everyday

Got in last week with a BIG position in BP. 10.2% yield! I bet they lower that. Not enough cash coming in to pay out big dividends. I have about 40% sitting in cash and gold right now. Just waiting for the right time. Chevron is on my list. I dumped a fair amount when the virus broke.

Or just watch Warren Buffet, he’s been sitting and waiting for a while with a ton of cash He will have bought before you know he bought, then leak what he has bought. Buffet bought a huge oil position last spring... $10 billion. This says a lot about his long term outlook on oil.

I'm very much in the minority on stocks right now. When I went back to school, all stock investing (including IRA accounts) stopped. My IRAs ended up being liquidated to buy the house I'm in now. Haven't put money into the stock market in almost ten years as a result (my 'savings' has been in real estate and other hard assets).
When it looks like things are finally settling down, it'll be time to buy, buy, buy. Especially if/when the real estate market gets hit.

The only people who should be concerned are people who are FORCED to sell in the next few days due to family health emergency,loss of job,etc. If they have to liquidate their stock holdings they're forced to lock in a loss. Anyone who had built up their retirement nest egg, retired January 1st, and began taking a retirement income from their assets are the ones who are in big trouble. Sequence of returns plus ongoing distributions will *murder* those accounts.

this is not 2008, in a month some people will feel really stupid for panicking. We are deep into the business cycle, at the end of the debt cycle, and at the end of the longest bull market on historical record. The global economy is crashing (for good reason), we are nearing a zero interest rate environment (negative in some places already), and yields are at all-time historic lows. It is most definitely not 2008. I *promise* you that this recovery is not a month away. My best friendly (and professional) advice is to not make financial decisions based on that premise.

I'm gonna buy more in next day or so 2 stocks I am fairly heavy in, MSFT & HD are on the buy list. Not sure about HD right now.

The question you have to ask yourself is do you think the companies you are buying are gonna be worth more in 10 years, nobody and I mean nobody, advisors, brokers, cfp, analysts, nobody knows what is gonna happen tomorrow, next week, next year..... if they say they do run. I choose to believe in capitalism, I believe that this is the greatest country on earth and I ain't living in fear. Stay the course, I'm buying stuff every week right now. I can tell you selling low is a recipe for disaster.
