I’ve seen them at Walmart. Or order one online from them or amazon. Get a set of shark blades as well!

Used the American Angler Pro Fillet Knife for years until I tried the Rapala Lithium Ion Cordless Knife. Here is the link below to the combo kit I bought on Amazon it comes with the knife, charger, 1 extra battery, very nice carrying case.

https://smile.amazon.com/Rapala-Lit...ithium+ion&qid=1583328081&sr=8-1

However, I made one slight change. I actually use the Saltwater Blades that go in the American Angler Pro. They actually fit the Lithium Ion perfectly.

Below is the link to the Blades I use. I like these Titanium Saltwater Blades. $24.99 a set.

https://smile.amazon.com/American-Angler-Saltwater-Replacement-Electric/dp/B07RY43VLF/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=american%2Bangler%2Bpro%2Breplacement%2Bblades&qid=1583328424&sr=8-2&th=1

They also have the Saltwater Blades in Stainless Steel. They just wear out a little quicker than the Titanium Blades. $16.99 a set.

Pair the Lithium Ion Rapala with some American Angler Saltwater Blades and you will never want to use anything else.

My Dad and I were sold after one use.

If you are wondering how long the Battery will last. I can clean a double limit no issues on one battery. I cleaned a 100 one time and towards the end it was slowing down. If I had more to clean I would have needed to switch to my second battery.

On a 2 man or 3 man limit no problem on one battery and you still have a spare in your kit.

Give it a try you will not be disappointed.

I give the Rapala Lithium Ion Cordless paired with American Angler Saltwater Blades two thumbs up. thumb thumb

Good Luck!

I sharpen my blades with a chainsaw file then hit the flat side with my Work Sharp sharpener to take the burr off the blades. Works great on my 6 sets of shark blades.

I gave my old dad my AA fillet knife and my blades. I had to use an old mr twister last Sunday to clean a mess of fish. I’m not doing that again. I’m traveling from Graham to Tyler and hope to be able to find one on the shelf somewhere on that run. I’ll need it this weekend.

I use this for my serrated edge knife blades. This one works really great on those that have both large and small serrations due to the taper. On a shark blade it takes me about 2-3 minutes per blade to dress them up and make them sharp. Does the edge last as long as the factory edge? No. But, I can usually get several cleanings before having to dress them up again. It's really pretty simple and not that hard to do. Beats the heck out of having to purchase new blades on a regular basis.

+1 however I am currently messing around with a chainsaw file to see if I can dress it up or sharpen it a little more...You never know it may be a good combination..Of course I will need some crappie to test them on

One of the Fork guides stripped the gears in less than six months. That's not the first one I have heard doing this.
