The man had a PhD in Meteorology . Although he didn't use the honor very often.

Growing up in Tulsa we had Don Woods. He was the equivalent to Harold Taft. He was loved by everyone. He used to draw a "gusty" on every show that would reflect the coming weather. I guess I'm bless to have seen two of the greatest. as a side note, Harold Taft is a native from Enid Oklahoma, my dads home town. small world.

Ron Jackson at Ch 4 was good when it got ugly. He was a HAM operator and when he wasn't live on TX I would hear him on the RACES storm nets.

Yea I heard him out there too when I first received my license.

Troy Duncan, was my favorite. Took guts to wear a bowtie on TV everyday.
I like Scott Padgett on CBS, he's been great when we have severe weather..Ann Elise is also really good.

Only reason to watch weather on TV. Why do you think there are very few ugly weather women. I said one time that Playboy needs to do the women of the Weather Channel. I bet they tried. For real weather I go to NOAA.

I rely on Pete Delkus. I liked Colleen Coyle too before she left channel,8.

She moved back to the Atlanta area and just started working for the Weather Channel.

I remember on Delkus's first day they were talking about how he used to be a minor league pitcher and one of the women desk reports said "she'd love to see his balls one day."
