I watch him also. His daughter goes to DBU with my son. He speaks a few times a year at the Chapel there. Donates a lot to the school. Did you know he was in the Dodgers organization? He was a pitcher. Harold Taft was the man though Actually I believe it was the Twins organization, of course doesn’t have anything to do with the weather.

Harold Taft . . . . . R.I.P. Best ever. He trained David Fenfrock and he has been a good weatherman. Not many left that actually look at the numbers and create their own forecast. Most now days use accuweather computer models. You can hear the same forecast on every channel.

These two. Well no wonder the forecasts are always wrong. Yeah that Kylie is always wrong. But I think shes super cute. Check one of the 5000 weather apps for weather. I like Weather Underground but there are many other good ones to choose from. I can get a full forecasts with multiple styles of radar and interactive graphs on my phone in 15 seconds. I like to cross reference that with the "Wind Finder" App on fishing days to really focus on wind directions and speeds at the micro level, a must for kayak guys fishing big waters. Its all there, and free. Its a wonder they do weather on TV anymore.

Harold Taft . . . . . R.I.P. He was by far the best. Lived right down the street from him when I was in high school. We would call him at home and ask about the weather before heading to the lake to water ski. He would always take the time to tell us what lake would be the best to go to avoid the wind. I remember when the station tried to replace him and it dang near caused a riot from the people that counted on him for their forecast.

David Finfrock is good and was Harold Taft's heir apparent but he developed that weird little burp/hiccup when he talked. Kinda hard to watch.
