Going down again.
I think we may be getting a chance of a lifetime to make some serious coin....

Going down again.
I think we may be getting a chance of a lifetime to make some serious coin.... Didn't we do that in 2008/2009?
May you be treated the way you treat other people, today and everyday!

Airline stocks have been hit pretty hard. No doubt they will recover. Buy low sell high.

I've been out of the stock markets for several years - didn't have spare money to invest while I was in law school. Since then everything has been tied into real estate and physical assets.
When the bloodbath is more or less over it'll be time to get back into the pool for me.

Just made first opportunistic buy - modest position in BX in solo 401(k). Will probably start buying equity mutual funds at end of day in other retirement accounts. I have 10 years before retirement account withdraws start - 98% confident market will be substantially higher in 10 years. Will likely start adding risk assets to non-retirement accounts early next week.

At the end of last week, we moved most of our small cap exposure into cash positions. Some of it that didn't go into cash went into dividend plays.
Depending on what broad equity market index you are looking at, it's off its high by 15 or 16 percent. Even our more aggressive portfolios are only down between 3 and 6 percent in that same period. Needless to say that our client calls this week have been breezy.

I've pushed a sizable chunk in this week. I bought Tuesday, Thursday, and today. My biggest push was today. Going to go into a holding pattern for a few days next week to see how things look. I've got a solid war chest I've built up waiting for this!

Just picked up V and FOX in non-retirement account and shifted about 15% of short-term fixed income in retirement account to domestic equity funds. May not be bottom yet but close enough for me to start the shift.

Monday may be the day to start buying? I have no business speculating but neither does the rest of the world but it seems like until Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, etc. can get back to work the market could still drop a bit. Is this not the inaugural dead cat bounce?

Wish I was sitting on cash, I would be shopping for sure, already 100% in, pump money into the market every paycheck, been that since early 90's.
I think the biggest issue is that we are not doing enough testing on coronavirus. So there is the uncertainly factor. Wall Street and everyone does not like uncertainly, remove it and everyone settles, markets settle...The more we know about this virus the better.
