I look about as fit as I can be, but I've been lazy and complacent since Thanksgiving.
The reason?
My hip is bad, real bad, bone on bone, and the thought of living the rest of my life in daily pain is crippling me.

I haven't been stretching enough, (hence, my topic I started last week) and I have not been doing my floor exercises, which are very hard.

Pain is in the mind, and I will beat it.

I will get up, read more, stretch, exercise, and be productive from now on.
I will take my day or two of rest when necessary, but I will be "pain and complacency," and I will do it with fervor!

...Go get'em! IN65

Well I couldn't wait till the first. Jumped on the scale the other day and it was a bit more than I was expecting, it was also the weekend, with the wife out of town.... So i started Tuesday, did my little cardio routine and went and jogged a half mile in the rain. Yesterday got on the bike and powered through the wind for about 13mi over lunch, then last night the pain started setting in from the cardio. So today, get right back into my floor exercise stuff and finished with a mile run. Think I'm going to be sore as hell tomorrow. Doing sit-ups, push-ups, planks, and jump rope. Got to get this belly under control.

My wife is wanting to do a "dry" Feb. where we don't drink any alcohol so I suppose I'll give that a shot. She's wanting to lose some weight too, so maybe we'll try and keep each other accountable.

Committed to the same in February of a dry month. This would have to be a leap year too... cool Aren't you based in Wichita Falls area? Where the wind blows 24/7 and sometimes harder? Biking in that is no joke. Keep the faith and keep on trucking.

Started 2020 236, I'm down to 233 in the first month. Haven't been dieting like crazy, just Sun-Mon eat healthy and enjoy Fri, Sat. I'm trying to exercise 2 days a week for the first quarter and step it up every quarter just a little. I'm hoping to drop 20 pounds this year and not be miserable doing so. I felt better this morning than I have in a long time. I like where this going. Good luck to all.

Down 20 lbs since July. Dieting is what holds me back. Haven't fully committed.

Healthy dieting kicks my rear. I’ve been trying some intermittent fasting and smaller portions since we eat garbage most of the time. I’m down about 5lbs, been trying to ride a lot more lately.
