The only thing that scared me more was a ride in a Skeeter Wrangler with back in 85. Thing was as wide as it was long. I believe it had a "worked" 225hp Johnson and was like riding in a skipping stone. I just knew that darn boat was going to swap ends any second. I'm sure that my finger prints are still embedded it the top rail.

No chance. 80ish loaded light. Probably 75 the way they load them.

Biggs boat has the potential to be the fastest on tour. It is a true 90+mph boat when loaded light. The problem is nobody is running light on tour.

Just sponsorship money. They fish and handle rough water great

Fish ability of the boat for individuals taste. If you look into some of the things Darris Allison and Allison boats you would be surprised what has carried over to bass boats.

Agreed Biggs' Bullet may be the fastest boat on tour being 20' with a 250 Merc. Even loaded down it should still be 7-8 mph faster than a similarly loaded BassCat or Triton with the same power.

I remember low 90's the morning I was with him on Rayburn. He had just got the boat and was working on the setup. That was a tournament load with 2 anglers and a slight chop on the water. It was the trees whistling by that had me puckered.

There was a guy named Grant Goldbeck 2014 that ran a XB21. I believe he was a BASS Elite guy, but the sponsorship didn’t last long. Production numbers for boats like Allison, Bullet, and Stroker don’t really justify major pro sponsorships. They fish well, they run well, and handle water well, but it is a financial issue that a small manufacturer can’t really overcome.

I would love to have an old Charger with a new high performance outboard.

My Bullet last year with full fuel, live wells, tackle & 2 guys ran 84 mph. 89 was the fastest I ran it on a light load. These are real numbers, no fish story here. Having that speed attributed to winning a few different events last year. I’m running a Bullet 21sst this year. It’s a few mph slower but handles rough water great!

Haven’t seen him in quite a while, but he is still kicking. Heck of a fisherman and could drive Skeeter Wrangler as well as anyone I ever saw.
