I bring 24 rods in the boat. Usually I have no more than 4 on top. Saturday it was 9 rods out. Caught one Smallmouth and one largemouth. Both on the same rod. Horrible.

I try to keep 4 to 6 on deck. Any more than that I start stepping on em. I'll always have more in the box if I need a change.

I only keep 1 or 2 on the deck. The other 12 are in the rod holders on the console and leaning post out of the way but easily accessible. Another plus for a bay boat.

This time of year I usually have 4-6.... 4 of them have similar baits on them if not identical. If they ain’t cooperating or conditions have changed drastically.... then looks like bass pro on the front deck

3 at the most.

I've got 20 in the boat....never more than 3 or 4 on deck

6 or 7 on deck, 4 or 5 in rod locker. Maybe few more on deck if I am fishing by myself.

Fall- White Nichols double willow leaf spinner bait and a white Nichols double willow leaf spinner bait and a nothing else!

Typically 4-5 on deck and another 4-5 in the rod box. Leave all the rest at home.

I have tried to simplify my fishing to time of the year and what I think should be going on. I minimize the tackle and baits I carry with me and leave the rest in the shop at home. I have not found myself missing anything left behind as of yet.
