I think that if you can get it watered in this weekend you will be OK since we had cold weather last week. This product has to be watered in to do any good. The longer you wait the less effective it will be. Crabgrass and other weed germinate when the soil temp is above 55 degrees for about 3 consecutive days. Good luck.

Truth. The word PRE means before they germinate. The weeds/grasses you see now have germinated over the winter and now are grown.

This application prevents germination of spring to early summer weeds/grasses.

The next application around May 15 prevents germination of summer weeds/grasses.

Also I don't suggest using a Weed and Feed. Be specific to what your applying and the dates listed in past post.

I sprayed dallisgrass killer on my dallisgrass about 5 days ago, its smoking it.

Walked my yard today. Thankfully I have zero Dallis or Crab popping up. My neighbor has a lot. He gave me permission to spray what I want when I want on his since we but up and he will bring over some 30 packs.. Adios MF to his weeds.
