Still some of my favorite trucks... but I still like the 97 - 03 F150 Supercrew’s

Dam it! I have never seen a scalded cat run. Are they fast?

Not as fast as a cat with a turpentined azz.

My first pickup was a 78 Dodge Power wagon with a Hi-Performance 383 engine out of a 72 Roadrunner. That truck had more engine than the body could handle. My favorite truck was a 94 Red Z71 short and wide with the 350 in it. Should of kept it as that was one of the best looking body styles Chevy ever made.

Identical to this 79 Chevy Stepside with custom gold paint design over the brown base coat. It had a 6 inch lift and 36" Monster Mudders. Oh how we had fun in the mud growing up in Colorado.

My 1998 Z71. Not as cool as a lot of the trucks in this threads, but I like her.

Cool thread. I'm not old enough to have some of the 70s & 80s vehicles like you guys. My first truck was a 90s S-10 and wasn't that cool (4-cylinder, reg cab, 2wd).

My current truck is my first long bed, my first 4x4, and has by far the most horsepower, so I'll go with it. But I love the body style of a lot of the trucks in this thread. Those old SWB chevy's were just fantastic.

2001 4x4 Supercrew is why I now drive a Tundra. Worst POS I ever owned. I saw a fairly new Raptor this morning on I30. He was doing an easy 65 mph when he lightly accelerated and 2 puffs of blue smoke came out the tailpipes. I was thinking glad I drive a Tundra.

My first truck was a 1957 Chevy Cameo - 265 with a 3 speed. White top and turquoise bottom. Fiberglass back side. Traded in for a complete set of Mercury dimes in 1970 a month before leaving for the Army, had to sell it cuz of no $$$....it sat in a lot in Carrizozo,NM for about 20 years and I never could find the man who had to see if he would sell it back. He owned a Phillips 66 station in Zozo in the 60's and 70s, Sold the dimes to one of my friends dads who collected dimes and such.....

I guess the one I'd most want back would be a '74 Chevy 4x4 with the 454. 14mpg running empty at 80 or loaded at 60! It was a Heavy Half but I don't think they called them that back then.
