Just imagine for a moment what would happen if this was not stopped. If it was legal and they faced no repercussions we would see this expanded and there would be many more cases of this and the next video would try to outdo this video.

If it was legal and they faced no repercussions we would see this expanded and there would be many more cases of this and the next video would try to outdo this video. Y'know, if there were a way to ensure that people who did this ONLY harmed the thieves, I'm not sure that it would be a bad thing from a moral or ethical perspective. If thieves in general were aware that they ran the risk of being badly beaten for stealing from someone else, it might deter such behavior more often. Legally, of course, it's a bad thing and cannot be condoned.

So I dont watch cable news, but I watched that clip.
What shocked me is that they are showing a Trump rally live in the bottom right corner? As they do the "news". Are you kidding me? Why dont they just bend over and let him...
Now back to the bikes, yeah I mean I get it, but you cant do that stuff. A guy once knew kids were breaking into his garage and taking beer, so one night he baited up with beer and waited in the dark with a shot gun. Killed both of them. He got life. They ruled he was not defending his property nor was he afraid, 1st degree murder.
Of course he played it off like he did not know they were coming, and he was scared and caught by surprise, they were burglars and he was defending himself and his family and his home... but he had been telling his buddies about his plan for a week and he had one of the kids get on his knees before he shot him... not something you do if you are really afraid. Life buddy!
This is not much different, this thing with the bikes. You cannot do that stuff.
Remember, I am a Judge.

Uhhhhhh- Don’t steal things, and you don’t run into the possibility of getting an arse whipping- It’s not hard to figure out- But then some evidently haven’t yet-
What has happed to you does not define who you are-
HOW you react to what happens to you DOES!

How many times do these things have to happen before someone realizes that posting on the internet is a bad idea. This case, YouTube. Poaching, Facebook. Practicing a kidnapping, posting, streaming, whatever. We could go on and on.
I got no love for thieves at all, but sometimes justice does not need to be advertised. If you have to “brag” you are in wrong business.

They should have gotten a medal, also is it not entrapment when police put out a nice looking girl posing as a hooker and then arresting the guy after trying to pick her up and no this did not happen to me.

I have zero/none, feelings of sympathy for anyone that came into their yard and tried to steal anything- If you are going to steal, there may be consequences- And in this case there was-
Kudo’s to this couple- Life has consequences. Police don't really care, once they write up a report they are done. I've seen renters pay their rent by stealing stuff each month and making a trip to the pawn shop.

The couples only crime was videotaping the events. Otherwise kudos to them. More of this should happen, but as I said before, the dark of night.
