Another one is when you explain something to someone and they turn around and say "so what you're saying is" and give their interpretation of what you said, completely unacceptable and deserves a choke slam

“Let me be perfectly clear...” seems to generally be followed by a “bald-faced” lie. thought it was "bold" I did too until a few years ago when I was corrected.
