Very nice! I love seeing the hand made baits built by you guys. Between you and CCTX I’m going to have to try my hand at this.

Quick update I’ve been clearing stuff out of my garage to make room for a band saw, belt sander, and drill press. I’m going to give it a go this winter and see what I can come up with. It may be a couple of weeks before I have anything to show, but have pulled the trigger on some wood working equipment. I don’t see me making swimbaits yet, but more of some flat sided crankbaits. I’m excited and stay tuned.

Reeder Products is based in Carrollton,Texas near the Addison airport. Family owned, father and son business. You can buy a DIY kit from them or go all out and start with their Ultimate Reeder Grinder.

I still have to get wood sealer and more sanding but couldn’t wait. Made several blanks last night, and am looking forward to seeing the finished product. More to come.

So two days of working and 1 finished product. I took it to the pond before painting and this thing hunts, weight balanced well, and makes the rod tip thump. I can see many more coming.

Very nice. Fish don't see many flat sided, silent, wood crankbaits these days.
